Carlisle Kennedy offers a fresh perspective dedicated to restoring trust and accountability in South Carolina’s State Government. A native of Lexington County, he cares about our community and values fiscal responsibility. Committed to holding Columbia accountable for tax dollars, he advocates for tax reduction and opposes tax hikes for Lexington County residents. Carlisle prioritizes border security, upholding the rule of law, safeguarding children, advocating for quality education and parental rights, improving infrastructure, and addressing the income and inflation challenges we face today.

Raised in Lexington County, Carlisle attended Batesburg Leesville High School where he balanced academics with work in chicken houses, served as student body president, and played on the state championship football team in 2005. Later, at Clemson University, he represented over 15,000 students as Student Body President, advocating for their interests to university and government bodies. Carlisle’s advocacy extended to the SC Legislature, where he testified on behalf of Clemson’s College of Agriculture. With a corporate finance degree and MBA from Clemson, he earned financial licenses and a Juris Doctorate from USC School of Law.

As a solicitor in the 11th judicial circuit, covering Lexington, Saluda, McCormick, and Edgefield counties, Carlisle prosecuted criminals, seeking justice for victims and their families. Married to Brooke Doolittle of Prosperity SC since December 2018, they anticipate the arrival of their first child in September.
